URGENT URGENT HOMES STILL NEEDED

Well we are getting down to the wire with the first groups stay rapidly approaching.  The first group of students will arrive in the Cleveland area on July 11th.  I have been able to place all the students but the last 4 boys.  They are just looking for a lovely family to host them in the Cleveland area homes for 20 days. These students are highly educated and well traveled students who travel with a group sponsored through their parents business company such as IBM and Air France.  This program has been traveling to the Cleveland area for the last 30 years and I have been personally hosting for 15 of them.  For the first time I am realizing that if the Clevelanders don't open their hearts and homes to these students they will be missing out on a great opportunity.  I hope to hear from local families that are willing to help find homes for these students with open arms.  They come fully insured and with their own spending money and you are just responsible for giving them a bed and meals.  They will travel twice with their group to local attractions like Cedar Point and downtown. These kids aren't expecting to be going 24/7 and doing different things every minute of the day. Keep in mind that these are regular teenagers just like our American teenagers. They enjoy bonfires, movies, hiking, biking, and of course the lake! Many of these kids don't see water often because they usually live in the city or an area with no water close to them, so when they do arrive they are just mesmerized by the simple pleasures of the lake i.e. (boating, swimming, tubing, knee-boarding) These kids come here looking for a good summer that they will always remember and from my past experiences it's the little things that make the memories.

Host families need for last 3 French boys

We are stilling looking for host families for 3 of our male July students.  I would hate to tell them there was no one in the million plus Cleveland area homes willing to open their homes and hearts to learn about a new culture and share the wonders about our great country.  These students are extremely educated and well traveled.  They have been practicing their English to be able to speak fluently to you and your families.
They are hoping to spend 3 weeks visiting with you your family and friends.  they will travel once a week with the french group on outings around the Cleveland area such as downtown and Cedar Point.  They have their own spending money and come fully insured.  Please contact me at Georgee182@gmail.com so I can give you more info on our program.

The nerves are setting in....

So this is the time that my stomach starts to churn and I sit at my computer for hours at a time sending messages to every editor of local magazine, newspapers and even all those annoying email addresses posted under your favorite local news anchors.  Yes I really sit here during the news and type in the emails and plead to them to help me spread the word about the french students coming to the USA soon and still having nowhere to stay.  This July there will be 10 french students plus their chaperon staying in the greater Cleveland area and they can only do that with the kindness of Clevelanders inviting them into their homes.
In the July group we have 3 boys and 1 girl looking for a family to call their own over the 20 day stay.  They would love to meet you and have meals, shop and get to know your family and friends.  They want to experience american living without the resort feel so they can become American for 20 days.  I have been hosting student thru World Exchange for the last 15 years and have many french children who I claim as part of our family all over France.  If you would be interested in more info on the World Exchange program contact me at Georgee182@gamil.com or call 440-653-1564.
